It’s called SpamAssassin and is offered with every shared hosting package, so in case you host your domains with us, you can choose one of the 5 safety levels that the anti-spam filter offers for any email account that you have here. You can do this with just two clicks of the mouse from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel that’s used to manage all shared hosting accounts. SpamAssassin ‘scans’ the header and the body of every email message, gives it a spam score and then proceeds based on the level that you’ve selected. Each email account can have a different level and you can choose whether the emails that the anti-spam filter considers as spam should be deleted or delivered to some other email account where you can review them at a later time, so as to avoid erasing a genuine email. Switching to another level or disabling the protection is also remarkably easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you order a semi-dedicated server plan from our company and if you set up one or more email accounts with any of the domain names hosted under your account, you will be able to enable the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin filter that we provide and keep all undesired messages out of your mailbox. This service is accessible through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and it can be activated or deactivated for any mailbox whenever you wish. You can also fine-tune the level of security with several clicks in case junk email messages still reach your inbox or the anti-spam filter begins erasing authentic emails. Since you can select if the spam should be deleted straight away or re-sent to some other mailbox, you can set up spam@domain.com, for example, and view all filtered emails there, so as to make sure that you won’t miss a message that you require. The emails that the spam filter allows to proceed will still appear in your mailbox.
